Our Story
has a very humble beginning …
Founder and CEO
Kai Xia, a pioneer and an independent app developer in iOS field in Mainland China, started his own business in Beijing in 2009, two years after his graduation from Tsinghua University with a Master of Science Degree. Kai established Zentertain in 2010. During the start-up period, Kai worked alone and developed his first apps in Beijing at his own apartment. The apps were successfully launched on iPhone App Store in 2010. Kan Hong, Kai’s close friend and university classmate, joined Kai in 2011. In April 2012, Chuang Zhi You Pin (创智优品) was officially established in Beijing, China where Kai and Kan were the co-founders. The business started off with only Kai and then Kan and now grows to over 250 employees.
